Payment information

Domain registration and renewal fees may be paid by creditcard via the ISNIC web portal. Fees may also be remitted by transfering the correct amount to ISNIC's bank account at Landsbankinn Iceland #0137-26-21123, if you do this through an Icelandic bank you need ISNIC's soc.id. (kennitala) 660595-2449

If you transfer the money into the bank account you must send an email to innheimta@isnic.is including information on what domain is being paid for and who made the deposit (id number if in Iceland)

The following tariff is effective from December 1 2008. (These prices are exclusive of VAT)

1. Registration/renewal fee. Payment for a one year renewal of a domain.
1. Annual fee for a domain: EUR 39

Payments made for domains are non-refundable. ISNIC does, however, refund initial registration fees if the initial registration was paid but the application denied. Please request a refund via email to "innheimta@isnic.is" including information on where to send the refund. If a domain is permanently removed from the .is zone it must be re-registered and a new registration fee must be paid.

The following fees are service fees, apply only to written requests or fax from the customer:

1. Delegation fee: EUR 26
   Incurred if ISNIC staff manually change the domains delegation records. Usually the domains contacts make this change via the web interface on the ISNIC website, free of charge.
2. Agent annual service fee: EUR 96
3. ISP annual service fee: EUR 192. Includes SOAP access (TBA).
4. Appeals fees.ISK 60.000,- (exclusive of VAT)
   The Board of Appeals judges if the issue at hand is within the Boards jurisdiction. If the Board has jurisdiction an additional fee of ISK 60.000,- (exclusive of VAT) shall be paid before the Board takes the issue forward for decision. The initial fee is non-refundable.
5. Dispute Lock Fee.ISK 25.000,- (exclusive of VAT)
