Office closed on August 1st. (Merchants' Monday)

ISNIC's hand-on service (telephone and office) will be closed on first of August due to "Merchants' Monday" (Verslunarmannahelgi or Commerce Day) which is an extended weekend. This means that manual bank transfers for new domain registration and annual domain fee that may be received after 14:00 GMT on Friday or on Monday the first of August, will be booked next Tuesday. Note that domain registration expires in 24 hours meaning that you will need to re-register the domain on Monday.

A domain that expires close to, or on a holiday, should always be renewed in a timely manner to prevent its closure. A domain automatically closes the day after its expiration date.
