Backup networking test on September 16th

On the eve of September 16th we will be testing our backup network connection. Our primary network connections will be disabled and only our backup network connection, via satellites, will be active.

The test will commence at 01:00 UTC and run until 02:00 UTC. One of the things we will be testing is how long it takes networks to adjust and route traffic over our backup connection, so we anticipate some disruption at the beginning and at the end of the test window. Measuring the scale of the disruption and duration is one of the things we will be testing.
