Backup networking test / Prófun á varanetsambandi

On 25th September between 17:00-18:00 UTC, ISNIC will again test it's backup networking connections over satellite.

It is neccassary to perform the test again to diagnose certain faults that where detected in the last test.

We do not expect any problems for users within Iceland, but for clients outside of Iceland we expect a few minute disruption in connectivity to ISNIC in the beginning and again at the end of the test. Nameservers around the world will continue to service the .is domain without any disruptions during the test.

Nauðsynlegt þykir að gera þetta próf aftur til að greina ákveðið vandamál sem uppgötvaðist við prófanir síðast.

Ekki er gert ráð fyrir neinum truflunum fyrir notendur innanlands, en notendur utan Íslands munu verða varir við nokkra mínútna sambandsleysi við þjónustur ISNIC við upphaf og lok prófanna. Ekki verða nein áhrif á nafnaþjónustu .is
