2009 - A good year

The ISNIC Team is very proud and thankful for 2009. It has been the best in our 20 years. We simplified and reduced the registration fee, accepted payment in Euros, we did not increase the annual fee, and still maintained a good financial result for the company.

The .is domain holders are of course the primary reason for this success. On average they registered 19.4 domain each day, for a total of 7,084 new domains. This is the greatest increase in .is domains ever. The number of 'active' domains at the end of the year increased 25%.
